Dudley’s Bookshop Cafe Covid Operations Update
We’re back and open to the public. Google is not updating store hours so don’t go by what you see there. Our current store hours are Mon-Sat 10-5, Sun 11-3.
A few things to know if you plan on coming down:
•Masks or face covering required. •Limit of 10 customers in the shop •All cafe drinks served to-go
•In the interest of distancing and capacity restrictions there is no seating •No public restrooms or WiFi
We are happy to continue curbside pickup and free local delivery for anyone that would prefer to not come in the shop.

Thanks so much for your understanding as we do what we can to help keep our staff and customers safe and healthy.
Dudley’s features a curated and in-depth selection of new and used literary fiction, all the best guidebooks, western history, science-fiction and fantasy. We have an ever-changing staff picks section along with a cross-genre selection of new and notable hardbacks that are 10% off each and every day. No other bookstore in Bend, Oregon can say that. If you still haven’t found something to your liking we have an entire second floor full of used books across all subjects. Read more about our book selection here. No time to come in? No problem. Shop online!
Leave the coffee snobbery outside. At Dudley’s there’s no complicated brewing equipment or six different roasts to choose from. What we do have is a time-honored La Marzocco Linea pulling shots for all the classic espresso drinks, served by friendly, engaging baristas. We serve a chocolate-note, medium-dark roast Guatemalan, roasted locally by Bonsai Beans. Not in the mood for coffee? We serve teas from Metolius Tea and Jasmine Pearl. In addition to drinks we serve a variety of locally baked breads from Mother’s to complement that perfect espresso drink.
“What I say is, a town isn’t a town without a bookstore. It may call itself a town, but unless it’s got a bookstore it knows it’s not fooling a soul.”
– Neil Gaiman, ‘American Gods‘
